Business Manager - Therapy-First Physiotherapy:
Following successful careers in the Pharmaceutical Industry, I decided it was time to come back in to the community and work in Education sector. I got the opportunity to work in a Secondary School, after the Deputy Head of the school came to me on a regular basis for consultation on the CLC project. My contract with the SRB project was for a year only, so I took the opportunity to apply for this position of a System Manager, this was the first project that will be launched b Tony Blair MP.
The role as a systems manager was great as this gave me the opportunity to train as a teacher and work with both adults and children in the school and the college that was on the same campus. Responsibilities includes: Network Management, Server Security and Management, Apple Network Server and Network Management, Developing Training In House Material, Staff Management, Safeguarding and Server/network Security, INSET management. The funding for the post came to an end, at this point I decided that I no longer wanted to work in education the education sector and in August 2011 I joined Therapy-First as Business Manager.
My role, as Business Manager is to ensure a genuinely exceptional client experience is delivered throughout Therapy-First Physiotherapy Platforms and that services are managed within the framework of healthy clinical governance and Professional standards. I have financial and commercial accountability for all portfolio locations and line management responsibility for service personnel.
I am responsible for shaping the strategy and local market plans, agreeing business targets for each location and ensuring successful delivery to achieve annual business targets.
